Rays slice the dark

Timber or hen

Knives piece the bark

Toddler or a patriarch

Love heals the pain

Theist or an atheist

Love seals the schism

Here I look for love

So are the rest of men

Pursuit goes on and on

Leaving the mothers behind

Alas it was late

Mother was that love.

  1. Read it thrice. Beautiful 🙂 Sometimes, when I go on this thought spree, I wonder how we give importance to everyone and everything else other than people at home. Not intentionally. Not that we don’t give importance. We think there is always time to let them know how much we love them. Most importantly, mothers 🙂
